My Kitchen starts on the Good Food Channel tomorrow, Monday 26th September, at 7pm and runs Monday to Thursday for ten weeks until Thursday 1st December. ”[The show] is a unique chance to take a peek at your favourite chefs, cooking easy-to-prepare recipes on their home turf, over four consecutive nights, while learning about the personal stories behind each one.
My Kitchen is the ultimate must-watch food show, guaranteeing you and your family will never be short of ideas for new and delicious recipes to cook night after night. And with the likes of Italian legend Antonio Carluccio, Michelin-starred chef Paul Merrett and Italian food maestro Theo Randall all sharing their home cooking secrets, dinner in your home will never be the same again.

Sam composed the title music for the show and, with his brother Dan, the original incidental music.

For Neda is on More4 tonight at 10pm. The award winning documentary was scored lasted year by Sam and his brother Dan. It’s hard hitting and a tough watch but Sam and Dan thought it was an important subject and they were compelled to do the project. Please watch, it’s a really important documentary.

Some of Sam and Dan’s music has been stolen and placed on a file sharing website. This is the second time this has happened. It is music that has either been posted on their websites in the form of showreels or on SoundCloud as promotion for The Sarah Jane Adventures. The files have now been removed from the file sharing website at their request and they have also removed it from their SoundCloud pages. Please be vigilant for any illegal activity regarding their music and report it using the Contact Page.
Because of this, Sam and Dan have made the decision not to stream any of their music again. It is not something they are happy about, especially as the music for The Sarah Jane Adventures is not currently commercially available (which is why they streamed it so that fans could listen to it whenever they wanted to – because the recordings are owned by the BBC they could not make them available for download but had permission to stream them) but they feel it is a necessary step to stop their music being stolen and copyright laws being broken.

Yesterday Elisabeth Sladen, the actress who played Sarah Jane Smith, died after a battle with cancer. Everyone who works on The Sarah Jane Adventures is devastated. She was a wonderful woman whose talent, warmth and amazing energy made the show what it was. She will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with her family whose pain must be indescribable.
Thank you Lis, for giving me a show to work on for so many years. Your effortless style on screen made writing music for you an absolute dream. Although you were only here on my TV and computer screens you will be missed in our home.
